We are happy to provide grills and picnic tables under a covered pavilion area for your convenience. Camp stoves and BBQ’s are not permitted at individual sites. Cooking s’mores or hotdogs on sticks at your campfire is encouraged!

Our team will be happy to deliver firewood for a small fee and is also available to assist with fire starting. Firewood from outside sources is not permitted due to possible transfer of both insects and invasive vegetation.

We want everyone to enjoy the peace and tranquility of our wilderness. For the comfort of all of our guests, radios, music or any sounds transmitted via speakers are not permitted.

The Pavilion is open to all guests unless you see a posted “Reserved” sign. They paid extra, so please be respectful, and allow the reserved group full use of the entire pavilion.  

We have a No Pets Allowed policy for the entire campground.

Please extinguish all fires by 11:00 pm or if not attended.

Quiet hours at Fort Tabby are from 10:00pm to 7:00am daily. During this time period we request that you enjoy stargazing, resting and quiet voices.

Campground Information

Our housekeeping staff upon request will provide daily service between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm for an extra fee, however trash receptacles are located throughout the property and should be utilized frequently to discourage unwanted visits from wildlife and insects. Also, keeping tipi doors closed at all times when unoccupied will further reduce such visitors.

Some of our units provide electrical power, which are ideal for charging phones or small additional lighting.  The electrical supply is not sufficient for any cooking, personal heaters or grooming appliances and are prohibited. Personal hair care and grooming appliances can be utilized in our bath house. Please inquire if you have any questions.

While we do allow campfires, candles or fires of any kind are prohibited inside any tipi, or pavilion. In addition, smoking is not permitted anywhere at Fort Tabby. Surcharges and penalties apply.

Surveillance cameras are located throughout the property; however, we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Check in time is 4:00 pm. Check out time is 11:00am.

All campsites are limited to only one tent per reservation. Additional tents are not allowed. Surcharges and penalties apply may apply.

We do try to accommodate early arrivals whenever possible, however please call prior to arrival and inquire if we are able to accommodate an early arrival request or if you will be arriving after 9:00pm.
